Douyin 630k followers influencer 李丹霞 couple scandal: Live-streaming weeping and exposing husband 阿圣's long-term affair, incident continuing to ferment on the internet

The public image of the couple, Li Danxia and her husband, which had approximately 630,000 followers on Douyin, has recently collapsed. During a live stream, Li Danxia tearfully revealed that her husband, Asheng, had been having an affair for an extended period. She said he would leave after drinking and later text his younger brother to pick him up. Her brother eventually stopped trying to cover for him and exposed his whereabouts and relationship, which led her to bring the matter up on the live stream. The account, which usually portrayed the couple as a loving couple, was drastically altered by this tearful confession. The incident has continued to generate discussion in Douyin's comment section and fan-made videos, focusing on the couple's public image with 630,000 followers, the duration of the affair, and the "family betrayal."

Li Danxia tearfully recounted during a live stream that Asheng had been drinking and going out with another girlfriend, a fact he had been keeping secret for a long time.

The scene of the exposé was the live broadcast studio. Li Danxia's voice trembled as she repeatedly clarified that he "had a girlfriend outside and would go out after drinking," clearly unable to control her emotions. She emphasized that this wasn't a one-off incident, but rather a long-term cover-up to maintain the appearance of a married couple on camera. Netizens compared this to their previous loving videos, and the contrast was stark: on camera, they were a model couple with 630,000 followers; behind the scenes, she was publicly revealing her husband's name and the fact that he was cheating. The clips, layering together her tears, pauses, and flood of comments, generated more buzz than a typical breakup announcement because it was the woman herself who dismantled the family drama during the live broadcast.

Afterwards, he sent his younger brother to pick up the person, but the younger brother betrayed him and became a key witness in the whole incident.

What's even more infuriating is the process. After finishing his outing, Asheng didn't go home himself, but instead texted his younger brother to pick him up. This step dragged the family into a cover-up. The younger brother later stopped hiding it and revealed who was picking him up, the time, and the relationship, giving Li Danxia the evidence to bring to the table. The comments section shifted the focus from "the affair itself" to "why her brother picked her up and why he told her," highlighting that a breach within the family is harder to cover up than rumors of a third party. The incident is still circulating on Douyin, and the couple's public image is unlikely to be restored. Discussions remain focused on the two concrete pieces of evidence: the live-streamed crying and the younger brother's betrayal.
